about

Eric spent a very long time composing this song, and he took it steadily. He managed to get inspiration to fully complete this song after a terrible nightmare he had. When it came to writing lyrics, he decided to make it about the struggles of being in a classroom during a mental decline, and waking up after a nightmare to a busy day.

lyrics

No one has the perfect life,
Every day at least some strife,
Happiness and joyful times,
But then sorrow and sadness comes.
Many reasons are there to back your feelings,
And it all affects a day in your life.

I’m gonna go to where you learn to know,
At the table I will take a seat.
I am very tired, my headphones are wired,
Important things that I must see.
My lack of concentration and participation,
You would’ve never known.
I would like to learn.
I don’t want to go alone.

All begins and off we go.
Hard to listen, I’m so slow.
It just flies above my head
I could’ve spent a day-
at home instead.

I don’t skive, I know what is right.

It’s hard to live with such a lazy lousy mind.
I would’ve done so much but not all brains are kind.

And my room is probably stuffed,
With lots of blankets, fair enough.
Did I turn out all the lights?
I’m worried my precious gear isn’t out of sight.

Horrible crime, scams are sublime

Well I’m off back home and starving alright.
I’m trying to keep a smile but there’s something I’m trying to fight
off.

To conclude the day,
The trouble feels like it’s here to stay.
But remember what they say,
Tomorrow is a new day.
So I will get warm under the covers
And I will put myself to rest.

And it never went as planned,
I shook and puffed with open eyes.
So much disturbance, rumination and everything.
And in this world it’s like you cannot have a break.

And I feel really very worried
That I also messed your rest up.
Did I yell my head off? Could you hear shrieking?
So sorry if I woke you up.
To make life better, I have to have a whole day
At a chaotic club.
Sad enough to say,
I don’t want to stay for long.
